I think the worry is that a den't might compromise the frame, unless all that is holding it together is paint, in which case this might not be such a major issue.
Not being rude, just people looking out for eachother, and thinking you probably should have mentioned it in the description ...

Rough idea of the mileage would be a good thing to include. Fatigue life and all that. If it was dent free and had sat dry in a garage for 16 years I'd be all over it, but if it's been well used it's a different story. Still, doesn't look too bad for 16 years old.
Had a look at another vintage 'dale frame the other day. Chap selling it said it had no dents or dings, but then I looked at it it turned out the wishbone seat stay had been chopped straight through then botch job re-welded. Now that made me sad...and amazed that the chap was still riding it.

i took the picture in that light so you could see the dent but yes, forgot to say anything, but it is a superficial dent. it's been in my loft 3 years, before that i rode about 1000 miles a years including some memorable amateur races. no crashes, but no 1st places either. needs a scrub but i was surprised how few scratches myself given its age

Hi,
is this still for sale?
Can't remember the exact year I bought this racing bike, about 1995.
It's a Cannondale R600 3.0 Aluminium, 50 cm (19.75 inch) bottom bracket to top tube height.
I've stripped some of it for parts, but everything you see comes with it, including the very new rings.
£80 to collect from SE21
