Your best bet is to sit down and work out how much all your equipment will cost you, tent other camping stuff.
Then work out how much you'd need a day for food, but ask yourself am I cooking for myself or eating out every night?
I could manage off 8 a day fine, just eating cold food from supermarkets and the rest of the money buying water. On the other hand I could eat out at restaurants every day and spend 10 x that amount.

I said it before, if I was broke, I'd work on farms.
I used to do this in Holland. June is the best time, after the tulips flowered.
My cousin did the same in North Africa - helping on olive farms for food. But we're Poles. We can't go anywhere without stealing jobs from the locals.

I thought you could eat and drink for about a tenner a day
Alright. Planning/Thinking/Wanting to go on a first longer tour next spring/summer from Sweden down through Denmark along the coast down to France, and then around in some kind of u turn through the central EU countries at the end taking a ferry from Germany back up to Sweden. I haven't been on a longer trip outside Sweden before and i'm not really sure how much money to save up for the trip. Anyone here that have been on a similiar ride spanning 1-1½ months that can tell me how much they saved up for the trip and ended up spending on camping (tent), food etc and other 'vital' expenses. I guess it differs from person to person but maybe it could give me a rough idea how much it costs going on a trip like this.
Thanks,
