nop, dont agree, I think it is not a create
velocity rims with brooks saddle with Oury grips, nice and decent looking front brake...

Yep, also check the drop out - should be enough information to figure out what frame it is.
Not a bareknuckle, nor an IRO, anything?

Has B-74 engraved into it, am I right in thinking thats the year it was made. Also has a couple of 'Made in England's dotted around the place... no idea what it is though...
No, 74 is not year of manufacture. I'd guess it was a Brooks B74. They still produce B72 and B73, which are similar to yours.

Hmmm, I can't find any pics or info about a 'B74'.
The closest thing I can find is this:
http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=vintage+brooks+saddle&um=1&hl=en&sa=N&biw=1440&bih=748&tbm=isch&tbnid=aByptSpfU9O5JM:&imgrefurl=http://www.flickr.com/photos/westchestercycles/4282764307/&docid=4soxce0nD2Aw_M&w=500&h=374&ei=328yTpKdJsGv8gP02pWhDg&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=187&page=1&tbnh=138&tbnw=186&start=0&ndsp=24&ved=1t:429,r:7,s:0&tx=90&ty=69But I don't even know what that is. That's similar though.

I found this in the trash the other day, I know its a Concorde time trial but can't find any other info on it, wheels are 650cc, it has columbus drop outs and had a sticker that said assembled in Canada. It had Shimano 600 tricolour components and a Cinelli LA 1984 handlebars
I started stripping it this evening and found the no's 0470 54 on the bottom bracket shell but also the same no's on the fork steerer tube along with the Columbus "bird" logo...???

What diameter is the seatpost? Usually helps.

hi guys, new here.
Just wondered if anyone could tell me what this frame is and how much you think its worth?
http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/6935270/Has a number on the headtube SF81200345. New to these sorts of bikes so anything else just let me know
Cheers Josh

Search (TOP RIGHT) unipack or create.
It's worth about 50 pence.

its 27.2, I've been looking around and still can't find much about it, I think the frame was made by Ciocc but can't figure out why it was assembled in Canada, 54 is the size but haven't found any info on the 470 no. on the fork steerer tube and the bottom bracket shell or any other 650cc front and rear bikes around

I thought it best to bump an old thread rather then start my own, but can anyone shed anylight on this Holdsworth i just picked up, ( £100 )
The frame number seems to be N176BY. is that correct? i've not taken the forks out yet to see if there is a stamp there,
its 531 (i think cant make out the sticker) but it was repainted somewhere as the remolds sticker says respray on it
Here is one picture. the rest are on the flickr

Finally got round to looking up this bike, a year after i got it it seems, the first bottom bracket number is in fact a postcode
BN176BY - Littlehampton west sussex witch as i bought the bike from a small flat the old man had had in worthing a few miles down the coast to mean seems likely that the postcode was there incase the bike was stolen and that was his bigger family home,
as for frame number, its painted over on the rear dropout but on the fork tube it reads 15638 so frame matches forks, and i know there frame numbers go sequentially. but as for dating i don't know unless it really means 15th June 1938? i guess its possible
the frame numbers confuse me, i know there is talk of tehm starting arount 6000 mark and ending some other larger number then mine but i still can't work it out exactly.
date codes on the back of the cranks will be two letters and you can google that. brooks usually have a simple date code and the camapagnolo parts often have a pat number which is the year made
Cranks - FC-6207 Shimano 600 EX 1984 or maybe 1981
Camapagnolo rear - 1981
Campagnolo front - cant see, but surely same time as rear
brooks - can't see one,as for otherparts there all rather nice, gonna get the whole things deep cleaned. now i have to decide what to do with it.

Needs a 700c on the back. Optical illusion lo-pro.

So possibly SL or SLX. Can you finger her seat tube from the bottom (bracket) and feel for light ridges? That'll indicate SLX (or possibly the later TSX though I can't remember the seatpost size).
I agree that it looks like there should be a 700c on the back; the clearances would likely be much tighter.

I used to love his shop in Soho. Couldn't actually afford any of the frames he sold as I was only 16 at the time but I don't remember him minding me doing a bit of ogling. I usually went to Whiskers in Willsden lane for my biking supplies.
Both now gone, sadly :-(

Thanks for the info I'll shove my finger in her later today and have a good feel around. I tried putting a 700c wheel on back when I found it but there's no way it will fit (even without a tire). It seems weird with 650c f&r and still no luck with info from the frame no.

Oh, interesting. Well, 650c F+R is occasionally used for TT.

if you push your finger in a bit more, wiggle around and you should find the g-spot.
