For Sale: Carrera Subway Zero: Single Speed/Fixie 20inch Frame

Afternoon All,

For Sale my Carrera Subway Zero Singlespeed/Fixie

Its a 20" Frame/Large.
Less than a year old - I've pathetically done less than 80 miles on it according to my Edmondo GPS Tracker - so hardly had any use. Brilliant condition. Pretty standard specwise: Tektro V Brakes and Levers (very strong braking), Truvativ Crank...and Aluminium Frame so nice and light.

I've added Red Fixie Pop Duro tyres front and back and Spoke Reflectors on both wheels which you can just make out in the picture I think. Original Black tyres also included in the sale.

I'll try and dig out the receipt for the buyer. It's also got a Bike Shepherd Tracking tag on it which will be transferred to the new owner. Also been Smartwatered.

It's a lovely bike and rides great - I'll be sad to see it go. Only reason for sale is that I'm after a geared bike as my knees aren't what they used to be (coupled with being several stone heavier from my regular cycling days). It has bottle cage mounts and the same for mudguards (Crud catchers are not included as they need to be returned to the owner :) ) It's a good starter to the world of Single Speeds and the Black/Red combo tends to get some nice attention.

I'll also include some LED lights.

I have some drop bars and Gold Finger levers to go with the bike if anyone is interested too.

I have a feeling these were 200 brand new, may want to adjust the price a little because of it. I think these could make good polo bikes.

Thanks @Tenderloin. They were £249 and were occassionally part of a 20% off promotion (£199) - Few were lucky to get it at that price (since stock mysteriously disappeared each time the promo was on, round here anyway).
Anyhow, I'm welcoming offers (it was just a guideline price) so those that are interested can happily PM what they think its worth/what they'd want to pay - worst I can say is no.

Incidentally, what is a Polo bike??

No worries buddy, your post was very helpful (unlike some on here). Apologies if I came across -ve towards ya'. Yeah, moneys kinda tight for everyone at the moment, so I do understand why sales are kinda slow especially for non-exclusive stuff that was made in the last few years. Nevertheless, as you say, it is a great little bike.
