Shimano 600 Clamp on shifters. Bought for a frame that I promptly sold, so surplus to requirements. Paid £14, so £14.
Shimano WH R500 wheelset. Pictured with tyres (not included). Rear has a new freehub, which was £20. Rear could do with a bit of truing. Front is decent though. With 14T and spacers on freehub. Therefore, £50 the pair.
Italmanburi Moustache bars, peeling. £5
HL Mtb 560mm bars, average condition. £5
Generic black risers. £5
Narrow drops from 'focus' girls bike. 40mm Stem. Unbranded. Shiny. sold
Sky+ box. Got it thinking I could get Sky+. Found out that I'd have to pay Murdoch money and changed mind. Still works for freeview, I just despise the Sky Digital OS. Hard drive is a bit noisy, I think this is just how they are though. £10
And the big one... my first 'proper' bass. Used a bit in college then as my second bass for the last three years of touring (rarely used after I learned not too snap strings on stage).
It's a weird Fender Mexican Jazz that was put together at the Corona plant in the US, hence the 'Made in USA' bit on the headstock. Supposedly the Mexican plant closed for a bit for refurbishment so they had to make them over the border for a bit. These basses are pretty rare, and it's taken a LOT of googling to manage to find this much info. It's meant to be on a par with the 'Hot Rod' basses that are available now.
It's stock Mexican parts from when they were actually good, ie lacquered neck. It's heavy as fuck but the neck is an absolute dream.
It needs a bit of work done on the electronics, you can buy a new control plate for about £10 all over the internet. If it doesn't sell on here I'll do it myself and sell it on eBay.
Knowing what people here are like I thought someone might like a very small project though.
You can also have the Tolex case that came with my other bass, which is worth $180 new (spent all my recording advance on my other bass, hence this 'freebie').
I paid £380 but because of the state it's in I'd take £180 with the case (which has a broken catch) as it's just sitting around.
Need to get rid of some stuff to pay for my new road build. I'll trade stuff for any Shimano 600 (preferably Tricolour) you may have.
Thanks,
Doug
