Cyclists are murderous?

A councillor in Southwark and the chairman of the Transport and Environment committee joined Twitter today, within 20 minutes he'd tweeted:

"hate cyclists - full of 'I'm a kind person' whilst POTENTIALY KILLING PEOPLE. hash tag #cyclistsaremurderous"

backtracking already, now the only hates he cyclist who nearly ran him over 2 days ago. clearly the guy wasn't a very efficient murderous cyclist.

Why are people always going postal about cyclists who supposedly "nearly" run them over, but never the ones who actually run them over?

Oh yeah, I know. Because it's so fucking rare.

And why don't they vilify all drivers when they walk across a busy road and "nearly" get run over several times a day.
