Is anyone on venaflaxine? If so do you get nightmares being on these tablets?
Any suggestions on better medication for panic attacks/anxiety?

Per the consultant: Yes, any of these can cause nightmares. But it's more likely that it's altering the sleep pattern and dreams you wouldn't normally notice are remembered because you wake up more frequently. CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) is better than drugs for this type of thing.
You can get CBT quite easily on the NHS. Depending on your council there's also another form that's available, it's kind of like CBT but isn't, and you can get that easier than the 10-12 month wait for psychotherapy, too.
