OK, so I bought some Rigida DP18s in red with intention of stripping them.
Bought the paint stripper, applied a coat and got to sanding the paint off. I'm just over half way through the job and I've given up.
If you want to finish the job - removing remaining paint, sanding and polishing the rims - be my guest. You'll get the rims, and whats left of the paint stripper tin (not much but it's a start), for a bargain price of £20 for the pair.
You could even leave them as they are, and just have a quality pair of rims disguised. A thief would not go near a bike with these in their current state!
