    The work itself is, inevitably, derivative, but it's well done. Like presumably a lot of people here, I was introduced to her work by Robert Elms' radio show. Those of you who remember her first appearance on the wireless will recall a well brought up but rather reserved girl who would only go on the show accompanied by her father. Her life choices were stupid; whether they're any of our business or not, she made her mistakes in the full glare of the same publicity which was necessary to fund them. Everybody who bought the records or the concert tickets therefore bought a ticket to the whole show, and as a result gets to comment on both the work and the life.
