Okay, but now you have to tell me what chorley cake is. Seriously, I'm an idiot/American... the only cake we have other than banana (bread) and cornbread is apple pie. I tried stuffing apple pie into my jersey pocket once, and it really didn't go well. The ice cream melted right away, too.
