I'm still scheduled to ride a bike with tnrc on the 9th. Epic overnight or Epic couple of hours. Possible risers + mudguard and bell.

I know it's the worst excuse for bed wetting but I'm still badly hungover from last night. So much so that my legs ache. I was hoping it'd fade out, but my legs seem to be aching more and more.

wow! what a great evening. reverse certainly was different, steeper. balmy evening on what is always a classic. enjoyed every pedal stroke. great crew out there again. good to see phil, marti and chris. top riding from shoots to catch us up and from scarlett to make the train. thanks for the pint Tika. Tuesdayness really does = Godliness, whoever tagged that.

Great ride tonight. I really enjoyed myself and I'm pleased I came in in the first group, although I feel it was due to being on gears and sitting behind Jaygee A LOT!
Also, great to meet loads of new people again. I'll hopefully be a bit more of a regular if I can make it out.

Depart Chingford 20h05 ---> arrive Roydon 20h45 ---> fucking barrier is down ---> depart Roydon 20h50 ---> piss stop @ Upwick Rd ---> depart Upwick Rd and realize the route has steeper climbs in reverse ---> gurn up in the 79" ---> very short off-road section on Brixton Lane due to misjudged speed on corner ---> rain ---> mount kerb twice for road closure before reaching the actual road closure ---> check time crossing A414 - holy fuck, the train leaves in 4 minutes ---> fucking barrier is down ---> jump over barrier with bike ---> squash testicles on barrier ---> catch 22h43.

Great night to be out on the rig.Good pace all round and yeah, the reverse run makes it interesting for sure. Cheers for those final 22 home Mirco. Even with another flat they were slick miles.

Oh, and special mention to Ms Chris. No bed-wetting from the latest recruit. Just strong riding. Hope to see you out there again.

The Roydon route always delivers - perfect night for riding, enjoyed that a lot. Great to see some old tnrc faces back on the road and some new ones joining in. Good work from bmmf taking on dropout's shadow ride role - cut the catch a bit fine though. Cheers for waiting at the last turn Gav, missed that one last time.

Looking forward to the IOW now...
