Wouldn't be difficult to shift again if it was too small.
But I fear you are too late :(
hi guys
i am selling my bmc street fire as i never ride it, as i have my fixed for commuting, and the mountain bike always seems to win when i have a day off to go riding. it's had very little use, (less than 400 miles) mainly used for the odd jaunt around richmond park, and once to brighton. there's no point in me having it if i'm not using it plus i want to get a hard tail mtb so need some monies.
the bike is in overall good condition, however there are a few scratches which were present when i bought the bike. the full spec is as below (borrowed from evans's website i have changed what i upgraded).
Frame:BMC Custom Alloy
Fork:BMC Straightedge 48
Front Derailleur:Shimano 105, Braze-on
Rear Derailleur:Shimano 105
Shifters:Shimano 105
Chainset:Shimano R600 compact double (172.5mm)
Cassette:Shimano 105 12-27 Teeth
Chainrings:34/50 tooth
Front Brake:Tektro R710
Rear Brake:Tektro R710
Handlebars:Scor MKIII
Stem:Scor MKIII
Rims:Shimano, R500
Front Hub:Shimano, R500
Rear Hub:Shimano, R500
Front Tyre:Continental GP4000s
Rear Tyre:Continental GP4000s
Saddle:Specialized avatar 143mm width
Seat post:Scor MKIII
Weight:Approx. 20.75lbs (9.41kg) for the Medium Size. (PLEASE NOTE: Weight is approximate and is provided by Evans Cycles as a guide only, actual weight may vary due to manufacturing processes and other factors)
they are shimano 105 pedals. the cages are included, basically what's in the pictures are what are included.
i know this is a mainly fixed gear/single speed forum but i thought i'd advertise here first.
i am looking for around £550, it retailed originally for £1200, but evans were selling it for £1000. the bike is in very good condition, and is surplus to requirements. i will donate a portion of the selling price to the forum if it sells through here.
