I find there are certain roads where, for some reason I can't work out, drivers (often cabbies) behave like arseholes. Another example is the sliproad off the Euston Road going east, at UCLH/Gower Street.
The suggestion above about TFL getting taxi drivers to have some form of cycle training sounds like a v good idea to me.
