The MTB test event was amazing. Great seeing you Al^. Good job.
The racing was exciting especially when standing near the technical downhills where a few riders stacked. It was good seeing the proud international riders wearing their official kits and rode hard and competitively.
However very disappointing to see no team GB olympian in neither women's nor men's race as they were training elsewhere for an international competition next week. The riders weren't even allowed to wear the offical kit and the women were dropped off the back in cheap looking brown decathalon like gear. Pity that.
It was a great day such cheery stewards, easy access to different areas of the track and to food. Great day really.
