Is the shop anything to do with Danny and Julian Wilson of the band Grand Drive?
I used to work with Julian about 15 years ago in west London and I think he was from down that way and he was a total roadie nerd, in a nice way. -

*cough*upyourselfmuch?cough ;)
Nope.....but if you're offering.yourself, I won't turn you down.
Now, this might hurt a bit......
;)
Anyway, Steve has spoken to me many times, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't know me as GA2G, hence the clue, which would have reminded him about our discussions. How else to differentiate myself from coppiThat? I'm sure Steve's son would call out, "Dad, its that fat guy about the locks", or maybe, "Dad, its that guy with the monocle, cravat and jodphurs again".

Hi there Steve, welcome to the Forum. I'd just like to echo what some have said, always friendly service.
I wonder how many have noticed the sign above the door? -

It's hit and miss. Little jobs like fixing a spoke he turned around in half a day, which was great.
But he seems to have a serious lack of parts. I mean: How difficult is it to obtain a Bontrager compatible BB? Not two weeks difficult, is it?
Especially cuz reeen had one at hand!
Could at least be upfront about the missing parts and his difficulties to get any, and I would have gotten a BB for him and he still would have had business. Like this I just won't go back there, because he's sitting on my bike saying "it'll be done tomorrow" every day and am fucking pissed off, having to go by tube every morning.i agree...
I needed to replace my crank arms, and they said they'd have it for me on tuesday, but called up and nothing, called up the next day and still nothign....I would have been happier if i had jsut ordered the crank arms myself, that way i probably would have gotten them in by the monday and got them fitted.
But sure about how much they charge for labour, but i asked how much it'll cost for them to fit some new brakes and was told £8, not that much cheaper than other places...
