Not doing this but can I suggest that you consider a minor diversion down to the Mudeford Ferry to Hengistbury Head.
Adds a bit of traffic free roll along the sea front and a really nice view as you cross the harbour. £2.60 per person with a bike and I reckon well worth it. (I am a ferry geek).

That's a shame TB... It's £15 single at the moment if you manage to wrangle some cash

I recall the groupsave on the way back being rather reasonable.

hmm maybe I was looking at something wrong. Looked like it was £30 for a single with a yprc. I'll have another look at lunch.

-

^ Sounds cool. There's a coffee shop that will be open on Richmond green by a pub and some benches.

Quality ride today, though definitely feeling the legs now. A happy band of three making it to Bournemouth in not quite enough time for fish and chips. Massive props to braker for leading us through the lanes. And to Jim for getting up at 4:30am to get the train to join. A pleasure rolling with you chaps.

meh only three? now I feel really bad about the bail =/ just didn't have it in the head or the legs to see it through. weather was stunning for it though, must have been a lovely trip. spotted braker rolling past lmnh at half 10, oblivious to my DAS in his post-odyssey exhaustion.

Congratulations on your first 100 Jim.
I feel bad about bailling too but then again there wasn't much I could do about my friend's wedding.
In time for the pub. Possibly in with train out to Godalming again.
