Just a thought, could one use personal safety as a reason to start cycling on the pavement on the bridge if the speed limit goes up to 30mph and the cycle lane gone?
Not really how do you. Think people managed in the past when there's no cycle lane? Just ride on the road, good thing though is that you can able to ride in the primary position and not pissed motorists off because you're not on the cycle lane (which I get a lots on the CS7).
Downside though is the new design make cyclist less visible with little error room to compensate.
