It does have slots but the bolts aren't in the same place in each slot. Which is strange, unless they're fitting different engines to the same frame and want to increase compatibility.
You'd expect a much bigger gear if it was for fast racing. A Simon derny uses a 100x14 and that while doing a 200m sprint gets spinning pretty fast.
The website says it's for racing on a wooden track which is why I suspected it to be a derny. The website also has pictures of proper motorpacing.
