Carbon Frame group buy

  • Bought a carbon frame on a Group Buy a few years ago from this crowd-got a frame and forks for 450 dorra-was 900 otherwise.
They are introducing a new frame soon and the group buy is on until end of august.
5 year warranty also...have a read of this...

And no I dont work for these people-just was very satisfied with my purchase last time...so much that I am taking the plunge again!!

  • i think i know some people who would be interested.

  • ... it's like fate. Not only is there an outside chance of me getting back into the black soon, but I was also just browsing some of these on ebay.

But more to the point, what Tiswas said. If these have some sort of warrentee etc. then that's a significant advantage over the rest.

  • Is there a way to do group buys on campag or Dura Ace groupset? And top other components, cause its great to see we could say £1000 on a frame, the rest will be a killer...

  • Import Tax is crippling unless you can get the seller to mark the package as a gift with a very low value. The only drawback with doing this (if the seller agrees to and many won't although I have found a few who will) is that if the package should get damaged or go missing and it's been marked as being worth about $30 then you're doubly screwed...

  • My experience, limited as it has been, of buying from International locations, was that the stuff I bought from Taiwan and China sailed straight through customs marked as "sample", but the posters I bought which were honestly marked at their true value got taxed massively, for no reason other than Parcel Force are cunts.
