Best way to meet other fixed riders is to go to the corner of Gray's Inn Road and Theobalds Road, get a pint of Staropramen from the Yorkshire Gray and stand outside and yell 'Do a skid!' at all the single-gear riders who come by (there will be loads). Many will stop, come over and introduce themselves and ask if you would like to go for a drink at 'Southies' or 'Westies' or other navigationally themed pubs. Say yes and have a blast.
If any of them invite you to go cycling in a place called 'The Surrey Hills' tell them to fuck off.
