  • There have probably been hundreds of decisions made without community consultation for the LO (and every other polo tournament). I'm with Jono on changing it if that's the will of the people, but I don't like the "decisions being made without any one knowing" argument. If you want, we can have a poll about how long games will be. And how many Swiss Rounds. And how we seed the Swiss Rounds. And how long the change over will be. And at what point we start adding extra time. And at what point we would like to finish. And...

    I have to agree with Mark here. As long as all the players know what the format is in advance, and the rules aren't changed whilst the tourney is in progress, and in the abscence of any credible governing body with a mandate (because bike polo is so punk rock that it doesn't need rules or organisation), then it's pretty clear that the organisers can do whatever they like with the format.
