• If by Boris Bike you mean the Barclays bike share system, yeah, I'm keeping that as a back up plan and actually anticipate using it at some point just to check out from a professional perspective. Chicago has only just launched their first bike sharing system but there are a pitifully small number of stations, rendering it virtually unusable for any practical purposes. So to that end I'm excited to check out a system that is seemingly much more complete.

    But also being someone who's become sort of accustomed to living on my bike in an urban setting, and knowing what I like in a bike (as I'm sure we all do here) I was hoping to find something a little more my speed and something that I could take anywhere and have easier access to while I'm there. But beyond the benefits afforded to myself by borrowing a bike for the stay, I'd also like the opportunity to interact with the London cycling community in some way if at all possible, rather than just the Barclays kiosks.
