First hit on google is http://www.the5thfloor.co.uk/2011/06/23/2011-leader-725-mid/
Maybe see if any of them are members on here and drop them a message.

fair advice...thanks, hugo. there's various talk out there. 5thfloor are clearly leader proponents. i was just looking for the 'unique' lfgss opinion...hopefully based on hands-on experience vs hearsay. cheers

I have a filling which appears to be coming out, if it falls out before I get to the dentist on thursday, will it hurt?

On which part of which tooth? I've had several shallow ones fall out from the sides, generally if you keep them clean and they cause you no bother it's OK.
You can buy dental wax from chemists to fill up holes in the meantime. -

This might be dumb, but never mind. Spied a very nice frame on ebay. Seller has taken c-t-c measurements, as follows;
ST - 620mm.
TT - 590mm.
I can't cope with the ST being measured that way, I prefer c-t-t. I've emailed asking what it equates to like that, and he reckons about 635/640mm. Sound about right, based on the above? I fear it's a touch large.
I just want it to fit...
-
• #15269
What's the question exactly?
If it fits you?
He already gave you the measurements...
(and yes, it sounds about right... <was this the question?) -
• #15270
I somehow want a frame that's a bit on the big side to somehow shrink to fit me.
Too much to ask?
-
• #15271
Too much to ask?
No, but this is another question. Get it sorted, which question you want answered?
-
• #15272
Don't know. I'm going to buy it probably and just look at it/hate myself for being stupid.

I'll see you in Classifieds in about 5 days.

On an old school steel frame, CTT is exactly ½" more than CTC, assuming your notion of "top" is a point level with the top of the top tube.
Stack and reach is the way forward, tube lengths are an inexact guide to fit.
^^ Exactement.
