My everyday lights have worked very well and bright for the last year through rain and snow. They cost me nothing (repaired after finding them at a mates house) and have custom gaffer tape waterproofing.
However, for my current build (almost done) Im going to use a £10 450 lumen cree front and three chinese £2 red lights (look similar to knog) on the back.
