It's got a silver braking surface. There's a black scuff as you'll see in the last photo on the flickr set which was on the braking surface when I got the wheel from its previous owner.

Indeed, I realised shortly after I bought the frame that it was too small although the flipped stem is quite accommodating and its been great fun to ride. Would better suit a 5' 8" - 6' 0" rider.

Built this bike up around 10 months ago and have been slowly upgrading the parts when I could afford to - it's cost me aprox. £1100 in total. As you can see from the photos there are a few cosmetic marks from where my bike chain has hit the down tube and some scratches, the saddle is also scuffed along with the bar tape all from general wear and tear. There's no structural damage to any of the components or the frame although I've bought a spare washer for the rear axle just in case as they tend to crack if frequently loosened and retightened.
I've just given the bike a full service and fitted a new chain and rear tyre. The bike also comes with a left Dia-Compe Dirt Harry Brake lever (which I've used as a right hand lever for as long as I've had it), a standard front wheel caliper and the necessary cables. The frame is drilled for a front and a rear brake. If you'd like any more photos let me know and I'll get them across.
£700£650.00 O.N.O.Willing to post the bike at cost or you're welcome to pick it up from Watford (20 mins on the train from Euston).
