Lovely! I'd get it to replace my old Argos which was too small, but this one lookS too big on the other hand.

I have a later version in 853 flat top tube, pearl white, ridden it in one TT so far and it didn't do too well, it complained of a crap rider ffs!
The Argos finish on the fillet brazed building and the paint on their frames is simply superb- you get what you pay for.

Hello Ben - is this still for sale? Need to build something for a retro themed triathlon and a lopro is the answer ;)
No idea how sizing works on these though - will it suit a 6' rider?

The frame is a 24" which is perfect for a 6" rider, sorry for the delay, i'll try and get some pictures with wheels up tonight.

simply beautiful
Hello All,
I'm putting my beloved Argos Lo-Pro up for sale, I bought it and built it up to try and connect with my inner roadie but it wasn't to be.
The frame is a Bristol-built Argos, built some time in the late '90s from double-butted high-grade steel. 24" seat tube, 700c front and rear, clearance for up to 23s or skinny 25s, Allen key brake drillings, semi-vertical dropouts with screw adjusters, braze-ons for DT shifters or stops and front and rear derailleur hangers, stunningly executed top-tube internal cable routing and plenty of gratuitous tasty lugwork (brake bridge, front mech plate etc.).
The fillet-brazing and paintwork is gorgeous as one would expect from Argos, paint condition is 8/10 with some small scratches and very slight surface rust around bare areas (BB face, brake drillings etc.) as expected of a used racing frame.
The original Argos forks have a 1" threaded steerer and the frame comes with a silky-smooooth Campagnolo Athena headset. The frame takes a 27.2mm seatpin, the bottom bracket is British threaded and all the frame's threads are perfect.
The frame is in Bath and photos are available here:

I'm asking £200.
Get some constant downhill in your life!!
Ta,
Ben
