Not Ti but extremely light!
- Use Alien Aluminium Cyclops Seatpost. Super light weight. In great condition apart from a couple of scratches way down the shaft. 350mm.
£40

Thanks Tel, but really would like to see if there are any Ti ones out there?

There aren't many Ti posts lighter than that USE. You really have to go very high end crabon or Ti to get lighter, and then only by a few grams.

May as well get it.

Thanks Tiddy, the other reason that I would like Ti is that I plan to do a few TT's on it and read that Ti may reduce road buzz down more than Aluminium?
A few ounces of weight isn't going to be a problem compared against my lardy ass and I acknowledge that the Use one is light so when I referred to wanting a light one I meant in comparison to the 360g ones that are available cheaply.
Tel...as I say if one doesn't come up in Ti, then will give you a shout...thanks.

I use a Syncros ti myself on a ti bike and find it spot on. Can't beat them for lightness/longevity and classic look.

I have a USE Ti that's going on a new build. I was pretty surprised that outside of the boutique brands there wasn't much that came close in weight.
If I were you I'd look on ebay esp the US side for a second hand Moots or Eriksen with layback. The older Moots design will be easier to find. But I've nowt for sale.

Oooh you lot are B@stards and ought to come with a National Health Warning to your bank balances!!!!
Been doing some research on Moots LayBack Ti Posts and the Kent Eriksen(Founder of MOOTS) Seat posts, and Firefly, who would ever think about paying $350 for a frigging seat posts!!!
Look like only one of these will do now after seeing a Firefly one in the flesh and feeling how bloody light they are, I mean just look at the welds and the logo and insertion points are anodised into the Ti, bloody gorgeous, so now need to find the money unless someone just happens to have a secondhand one lying around: -

Err, the welding on my Eriksen is much neater than that! Also cheaper...

Are u still looking for a post. Check these out. Really nice, and I could do u a good deal
Http://www.dayjobbikes.com
I need a fairly long seat post, minimum 350mm and preferably with a small set back.
I figured originally on Ally, but would really like a Ti as it will still look good on my resto but at the same time be light.
Anyone got anything out there?
