For Sale: 1980s Maillard/Super Champion track wheelset clinchers

Somewhat reluctantly, I am selling this rather nice track wheelset.

• 36h large flange fixed/fixed Maillard hubs, made in France, date stamped 1984
  
• Super Champion Gentleman 81 rims, made in France
  
• For 700c clincher tyres
  
• Fitted with 16t and 18t cogs and lockrings and rim tape
  
  

The guy I bought these off had them built by Denton(?) Cycles in Newcastle(?), I think. They've only been used on the track and, according to him, have done less than 100miles. They've been in storage ever since. I bought them thinking I'd use them, but haven't.

They're in excellent, lightly used condition. Neither rim has seen a brake. The hubs are a little bit dull from storage, but could be easily polished up. The bearings are nice and smooth, though a stickler would say they should be re-greased as they've been in storage for such a long time. Neither cog has any significant signs of wear. Run straight and true. There are no tracknuts at the moment, but I might be able to dig something out.
