How long is your commute? What bike you riding? 5 miles+ and fixed, I would suggest looking at some sports tech type stuff. It's VERY cheap at sports direct. As in £8 a jersey. £8 for padded shorts. They do keep you cooler and more comfortable if you're looking at anything over small distances...
