im actually in the process of building up a new bike so this could be the perfect opportunity to move on my miyata which has been trusty for a year now. and since you are the same height as me this might be perfect
what hilary had to say when i bought it:
MIYATA ROAD FRAME
Seat Tube (ctc): 63cm (24.75in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C
Seatpost size: 26.6mm
Miyata frames built in Japan are very good quality even at the budget level. This large road frame is in very good/excellent condition with very good paint. An excellent frame for conversiion for a tall rider.other components are..
-3ttt stem (excellent condition and i would rather keep this)-Italmanubri 'Europa Super Racing' 40's bars (very nice classic shape hard to find)
-generic seat (not pictured, im keeping the bucket as its 1/150 haha)
-wellgo pedals and straps (those pictured are actually with double straps but i will keep them and fit others)
-quando hubs on alex rims (need some more truing and the rear is actually missing a spoke)
-2 kenda tyres and tubes (the rear is starting to get skid patches, the largest one of which is shown, i could give you a spare gumwall tyre which is about 35c if you want..)
-brand new ritchey seatpost
-sugino messenger crankset and chainringive been brutally honest here, the bike works like clockwork and is in alright condition.. you are more than welcome to come have a look (i live on park street in the centre of bristol) ... is £160 fair?

Genesis flyer 58cm complete bike (thats what genesis say but it's huge(i'm 5'11 and seatpost has loads to go and has a long reach), Omnium cranks (external BB track cranks), Look carbon forks, other nice bits and has alex standard wheels with flip flop rear with 18t freewheel and your choice of fixed cog 16t,17t,18t and 48t chainring - all ready to roll, just add pedals. Looking for about £350. Pics on request.

I am in Bristol and have:
BENOTTO ROAD BIKE 1980s
Seat Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
Top Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
This is a very good Benotto road bike which has been repainted and given Heny decals – these are top of the lacquar so can easily be removed. It has a Benotto saddle and a Benotto panto’d stem. The groupset is Shimano Exage. Its in generally very good condition and is ready to ride once pedals are added. The wheels are really rather good quality – Mavic Open Pro rims on Mavic cartridge bearing hubs. £175 -

I've been living in Bristol for work and found lots of second-hand community-oriented bikey groups.
Here are some alternatives for getting a bike in Bristol:- The Bristol Bike Project is a non-profit that sells refurbished bikes to the public on Fridays
- Jake's bikes is a highly locally recommended bike shop that sells and repairs second hand bikes
- Bike Back is a recycled bike project (in collab with local prison) that sell bikes in centre of the city every few months

Hi there, was just wondering if there was anyone in the Bristol area who may have a bike suitable for a 6'2" man that the are looking to sell immediately?! I am on my way there now and National express would not let me take my bike on the coach so am stuffed for getting around!!! Some kind of geared or single speed road bike would be perfect! Don't have a massive budget but any potential ride considered. . . Thanks in advance Phil
