See the first pair of feet in the picture? well look at the bikes next to them, the back half is missing from the light blue mtb / hybrid and the wheels are missing form the other. Now the wheels could have been stolen from the second but I doubt that anyone stole half a fucking bike. With that amount of force it could only have been:

Think its quite feasible it was a van or small truck at speed - wont be much visible damage because of soft front/rear bumpers. The force involved has (obviously) still been more than enough to flatten all of them. Theyre not strong...
