never been keen on those 90s mtb style forks on anything other than a 90s mtb, just look so wrong.
but if clearances were more equal/ neater looking fork, i'd ride it :p
With the water bottle bracket things, I bought some italian ones from halfrauds for £2. they are a bit like the rubber zip tie things you use on fruit trees. OK for a small 500ml bottle on the seat tube, but on the downtube it just wobbles hopelessly into the path of my feet/cranks. 750ml bottle on the seat tube makes them eventually slide one way or the other into your feet/cranks again.
I think on frames with much larger diameter tubes they might work OK, but on skinny (27.5mm ish) steel tubes, they don't really work.
Will probably resort to buying/making some kind of saddle rail twin water bottle holster device.
