You in London ? There's a Sita transfer station on Charlton Lane near Chertsey that does metal trade waste and has literally hundreds of old frames lying in amongst all the other crap. I had a few frames from them before, but i was there to work on their vehicles. I would bet the blokes on the weighbridge would let you go and have a look on a Sunday (or call up first and ask). There's another one round the back of Battersea power station you could try called Cory Waste, i've seen track bikes locked up there so guess someone who works there rides and would understand your cause.
