In other news, a member of a Volvo forum that I use posted a thread asking for motorists to give cyclists enough room on the roads, this directly after a member of his cycling club was killed by a vehicle ( I think a lorry?) whilst he was racing in a time trial.
This didn't stop another member of the forum going off on one about his "cyclist spearing javelin" with which he was going to rid the roads of the two wheeled menace.
In a thread started about the death (pointless, avoidable, terrible) of a mans friend.
Remarkable, for all the wrong reasons.
