The Rose ticks all the boxes so far, just need the collective opinion. Murts, B&D and myself popped down there today. Suggest we use it for next weeks drinks. Aroogah reckons it was where Richie had his birthday sometime ago. It's barely 'less west' than the Crabtree in longitudinal terms.
Anyways - the long and short of it. B&D sampled the food, it was superb. Lovely garden, we can take bikes to it via the pub or the gate when they replace the bolt. They are sorting out some meal deals - we'll find out what they are later. The pub is quite spacious, and there was some cracking music coming through - relatively random from some internet jukebox but good stuff. They are more than welcoming so far.
First (?) Thursday of the month, they have the Harley Davidson chaps call by, and put on a band and stuff. Apparently it is a cracking night. The "LFGSS West Chapter" beckons.
So - tonight the Raven, next week the Rose. We'll see what's what.
