  • Was thinking lets have a little BHX ping pong match ups, could be a fun evening :)

  • sounds good DLB im in

  • saw some outside paradise forum today and read something about berlin hosting some huge outdoor ping pong competition, i would be up for it

  • I think Puma are behind it. I can imagine town ones will be well busy. But there are a few in the burbs. Spotted one in billesley and one at QE hospital.

  • There's one by my flat and the Brindley Place one was pretty empty today. We should try doing on our bikes, see who can stay on for the longest :)

  • I saw them yesterday at the Arcadian, And there is a Ping Pong Cafe being set up just up from Brum Cow/ Urban Outfitters!

  • I saw someone playing Ping Pong outside the church on Kings Heath High St last night

  • @ DLB, if we cross path when working we should have a smash.

  • Thursday evening bike pong?

  • Photos?

  • seen them on my way home. do they have unlimited balls or something?

  • It's all done on trusting the people to leave the bats and ball's there(I think that are called bats?)
But Thursday Ping Pong sounds good

  • (I think that are called bats?)

    Paddles I believe.

I used to play table tennis at school. Not played for years!

  • Some more info:

    http://etta.co.uk/news/ping-pong-fever-hits-birmingham-stop-and-play/

55 tables around the city. Some locations in the above article.

  • FFS I've only said forum ping pong about twenty times this week already!! Le sigh.

I played in Kings Heath church at midnight with some Romanian rude boys. It was fun. My housemates are running the shop on corporation st in order to try and get strangers to play a game of ping pong with each other.

  • Man, I love the ping pong.

There's a club in Cotteridge I was thinking of joining. Anyone else fancy that?

There was a documentary on Radio 4 not long ago where Howard Jacobson was going on about how intellectual a game it is. Made it sound like chess, only with cooler body positions.

  • We have ping pong tables at work..quite interesting trying to play in rigger boots..doubles...no trainers allowed. Thats the rules..=)

    Do they have a bar?

I've got a ping pong table in the garden. It's a bit worn (ok one side has a massive crack) but ok for fun games. Got beer too.

  • ok for fun games.

I don't do fun games. Must be arch competition. All I want is to destroy my opponents with my fiersome topspin.

  • bet you a fiver Bally from work would fo show show you spin...

  • I'm pretty shit, but take it too seriously. For me style is everything. I'd prefer to lose with a few spectacular shots than win by playing cagey.

  • so we playing tonight? location, time and wager need agreeing!

  • 9pm victoria square! Be there! Ha

  • Finished work late barry, sorry mate, do you know how long they're there for?
