Why does this behavior always go on just a meter or two away from a pedestrian crossing? places where you can actually just walk across the road, no hassle.
I've mentioned this before. Exmouth Market/Percival Street is a prime example, with 2 zebra crossings in close proximity, and utter chaos in between/just beyond. Plenty of standing-in-the-road as well as lackadaisical crossing.
