I heard that Camelbak were working on a new product, inspired by Hippy's performance in the 24hTT.
Camelgut. Gives you 15% less wind resistance than a 'normal' belly. Strap it on, fill it with Victoria Bitter and Voila! You too can imitate your favourite antipodean speed wombat.
