I cycled past that yesterday as well. Ambulance's/helicopters gone, but tons and tons of police everywhere.
The new road system on the east side of Russel square is great, but they really needed to let people know about the changes somehow. I turned into a cab whilst coming north assuming he'd turn right.
Anyway, from what I saw I assumed it was a death, glad to hear a glimmer of hope that the cyclist survived.
