They were back on the bike after Tanya and Sam were on it, i'm guessing they fell off and some passer-by picked them up, checked at closing time and they were nowhere to be found. To be fair they were showing their age and needed replacing soon anyway.
P.S. Just because it's the 12th, it's no excuse to blame everything on those dirty huns!
