I dont hate it i was pointing out things that are worse things to post than threads about caps or the tour.
well if you dont like the threads dont read them.

greenracer, in your first couple of postings about not wanting to hang out or be placed into the ladies thread, I mentioned this is a robust (some would call it harsh) forum, I'm assuming after your latest interactions with the forum you are coming to realise what I meant.
if you plan on being here for a while, know that the forum has been going for well over three years and most of the major questions have been asked and answered, and many threads have been started that cover what you'd like to say, and it's best to have a quick search or scan the options that come up when you start a new thread to see if it already exists.
Right now there is the cyclical backlash against the forum's ongoing growth, which boils down to forum users who've been here a while railing against those new members who have just found it and who throw themselves enthusiastically into the mix, without seeming to realise that their newfound excitement isn't that exciting for those who have seen it before countless times.
I'd say take a breath, think before you post, and do a lot of reading, the forum is a valuable resource and has become an even bigger social cycling space as well. If you stay on here, get over the initial resistance and come out to any of the rides/beers/polo which may occur in your area, you'll find that the internet cycling bark is worse than it's bite and you'll probably connect with more like minded cycling people than you thought possible.
Here's hoping you work through the flak to become an active and long term member of LFGSS...

im not trying to piss people off. but fuck im only posting a few things. If no one wants to read my posts dont read them i dont see what the big deal is! seriously yes i might of threaded more than others but some people post comments up on threads that are racist, homo-phobic, sexist, ageist, Dumb, Crass, Weird and many other things but never get as much stick. Just because its a thread it means so much more? Seems to me that people (not saying you) just in general are stuck in there ways and like things to run in a certain way on this forum.
Change canbe good. But to get pissed off over a few threads is a bit childish.I have to waste my valuable time merging those few threads.
Making me work, makes me angry.
This makes my bar staff nervous and the police have to be called.
My girlfriend then gets annoyed at the ever-increasing bail costs.
Safe to say, it's easier to ban than carry on merging.
Slow down and work out how this forum works before creating threads all over it just because you can.Thanks,

Whats the point in a forum being set up for "the select few", thats boring. The whole point of a forum is to have new and older members to interact, share ideas, even if they dont like some ideas or views, which is inevitable it is still needed.

Because we expect people, eventually, to get it: UTFS, there's a 99% probability that you don't need to start a new thread, except for classifieds.
