weirdly, at the previous junction a heavy tipper lorry was turning left as i was coming up behind it. it had a big "cyclists beware" sign on it and a very audible "beep beep - warning this vehicle is turning left!" siren thing. i was just thinking how good it is that the message is getting out there when... not even one block later.
