Earn £50 000 a year but cannot afford to put the heating on, however they can afford petrol for their VW passat r36 with a 3.6 litre v6 engine and a combined fuel consumption of 29.6 mpg and presumably have mortgaged themselves up to the hilt to live in "the sought-after Surrey village of Wonersh in one of the most expensive corners of England". They are not poor or even remotely near being poor, but are living beyond their means why should I have any fucking sympathy for them. Fuck you Daily Mail I hate your sycophantic attitude towards the middle classes, and the way that you pander to their fears. If you want to highlight poverty go to a part of the globe where people truly are poor, the horn of Africa would be a good start at the moment.
