In fact i am converting it at the moment i want to stick a new bottom bracket and crankset on. any knows issues with this? i know raleighs can be troublesome.. i,e what size bracket does it take?

Sounds like it's the same one I have, in which case it's a 90s frame (prob 91), if that helps at all.

Incidentally I also will be selling mine, frame and forks in black, about £30 ono. available next week after I receive a new frame.
