• I know it sounds a bit silly, but its a pretty easy 5 quid to save if there's someone who has a set of single/track bolts and wants some doubles.

  • had this dilemma for ages and eventually found out you can use zip ties to go around the outer part of the bolt (ie female part) and it works really well to convert/space to single if you dont have the right size washers/are too lazy and impatient to get SS bolts....

    Actually safe since the plastic binds in really well and nearly all the force is lateral rather than against the zippy bit....also well out of reach of the chain on my 52t...perhaps not so much on a smaller chainring....

    one could also use pretty colours ;)
