For Sale: Dawes Touring Tandem

My companion and I are doing a Europeans tour over the summer and will be looking to sell the bicycle on return to London. The tandem will be available late August. depending on location a meeting/home delivery can be arranged

It is a Dawes Super Galaxy Tandem, 531 tubing, 21 gears. The frame is in good condition but does have some chips to the paint work in few places.

Size Front 23” C-T, Rear 21.5” C-T

Chainset –Stronglight
Mechs- Front and rear Shimano Deore
Brake Levers- Shimano not a matching pair but similar series
Brakes – Weinmann centre pull and hub brake which is currently detached but operational.
Handlebars- Dawes
Saddles- front Selle San Marco, rear Bontrager
Pedals-MKS (front), Misc (rear)
Front Wheel - 40h Suzue sealed bearing hub.
Rear Wheel - 48h Suzue sealed bearing hub.
Diatech brake lever for the rear rider
Gear levers - Shimano Index down tube shifters
Rear Rack

The front wheel is brand new prior to our tour
