    Bristol - NS - 17.9.11 - 18.9.11**
Bristol are stepping up to the mark and hosting our very first tourney as part of the National Series. This epic event will take place on the 17th and 18th September 2011.
    **
    Courts: **

Two fantastic large courts, each surrounded by 1.5m high block walls. The courts are not only excellent to play on, but also great for spectating. You will not be disappointed.

    Location:

The event is the first to be held at our new Portway site! This place is tournament heaven and is located next to the A4 and river Avon in a secluded spot nestled in the gorge. There is a 2.5 hectare field on site which we are going to be using as a campsite for the event (available from Friday until Sunday and free of charge). The site is a very nice 3 (ish) mile flat ride through the Avon Gorge (under the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge) from the city centre. Directions and travel options will be emailed to you following your registration. Free unlimited parking is available on site.

    **Format: **

Our aim will be to give everyone as many games as possible, so either a full round robin or failing that as many Swiss rounds as we can fit in, followed by some sort of elimination to determine final placing.

    **Rules: **

We'll adopt the National Series rule set.

    **Accommodation: **

There's only a small number of us currently playing polo in Bristol, so whilst we'll do our best to house people there's a fair chance we'll not be able to accommodate everyone. We are hoping to encourage as many people to camp on site as possible to add to the atmosphere of the event.

    **Entry Fees:

**£10 per player. Please fill out the following player registration form (this is required if you wish to take part).

    Player Registration Form

We will send you an invoice by email via PayPal for £10. If you have a player on your team that does not have access to email or cannot pay online with a debit or credit card via PayPal, please ask them for their required details and fill out a separate form for them. There is an extra info section on the form that you can use to ask for a £20 or £30 invoice to cover other players on your team that can’t pay online. Any questions about the payment system, just PM us or email bristolbikepolo@gmail.com.

PLEASE NOTE: TOURNAMENTS ARE EXPENSIVE. PLEASE PAY YOUR REGISTRATION FEE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.**

    Sponsors:**

We've already secured some great sponsorship for the event including Brev.M and Boneshaker Magazine. Chrome have also come on board and have given us some of their top quality goods. We have the support of local bike shop Chaos Cycles, serviced apartment company LuxuryRoomsBristol.co.uk and are in talks with various other local companies too.

    Prizes:

Brev.M (www.brevm.com) have been fantastic and have not only supplied us with plenty of small prizes and giveaways, but also a brand spanking new Brev.M Speciale Fixed Riser 56cm bike worth £550!! Each player will be receiving a goody bag on arrival containing a free raffle ticket to win the bike in a draw at the end of the event on Sunday!

Chrome www.chromebagsstore.com , manufacturers of high quality bags and shoes have supplied us with a selection of items including 4 pairs of shoes and 3 bags! If you don’t already know, their bags carry a lifetime guarantee! They are pretty bloody good.

www.luxuryroomsbristol.co.uk have given us one nights accommodation in one of their stunning luxury harbourside penthouse apartments as a prize for the team with the highest score on the Saturday. The penthouse apartment will be available for the leading team to check into after the days polo on the 17th and will include a bottle of chilled champagne on arrival and a luxury breakfast hamper for the morning. Think large wrap around roof terraces with the best views in Bristol, luxurious en-suite bedrooms with Egyptian cotton bed linen and even a secure underground bike store for you to park your steed for the night. What better way to set yourself up for victory in the final?!

We are confident that this tournament will be THE (well, second after the London Open) polo event of the year!!
