Wanted: Beater - £100-£150

A mate of mine is looking to get into cycling in London so I thought I'd post here.

He's looking for a cheap ride, it doesn't have to be in great condition, as I'll do the fixing up/parts replacement, only thing is the wheels must be fairly true and it's gotta have some brakes, 56 - 58 cm would be good.

That's quite nice - a bit too nice, and I'd have to buy him a freewheel and add a back brake, so would push the price up to the £200 mark, so nope but thanks anyways Scrapper...

well he's never ridden fixed, so I thought I'd at least give him a chance, and we all know about FWFB's

Bit over your budget, as I'm keeping the rear wheel- but I need to move this on:

£150 minus pedals and back wheel, you'll need to tighten the cranks slightly also.

I'll include a BB5 for the back as well, plus rotor.

Hey Thanks Dammit, but £150 is really his top end and I don't want to have to spend any more than that for him.
