  • I find the whole saga fascinating. There are just so many intertwined and vested interests that you just can't tell where it's going.

How's Cameron going to manage staying in bed with Murdoc Vs. public opinion? Especially with Ed Miliband taking the initiative and openly starting to criticize the saga (knowing full well as long as he doesn't push too hard he'll have plenty of time to suck up closer to the election).

How on earth can the Government *legally * stop News Corp's takeover of BSkyB? At the moment all they can do is delay it... which it looks like they're doing. I think last night Shirley Williams seemed to suggest that there was a "fit and proper person" test that could be used by OFCOM to thwart the takeover, completely separate to the Arts and Culture plurality test thingy.

How are the police going to run a clean investigation which implicates them in coruption?

How can there be a quick and speedy public inquiry which is going to make everyone look like a bunch of cunts?

How are the papers going to report on the whole saga, when it shows them up as being a bunch of cunts and also jeopardises the individual careers of the people working there?

It almost reminds me of the later seasons of The Wire where everything gets so messy and intertwined that you're completely fucked if you actually try and sort things out.
