Mongoose maurice is ahead so quill won't fit

kkk, my moment of stupidity has passed. I have managed to get the allen key bit now, but does anyone know if a 1" quill stem would fit?

no it should fit ! you need a threaded fork and different type of headset

because i think the forks are 1 1/8 inch

Forks = 1 1/8
Headset = 1 1/8
Stem = 1 1/8
Quill = 1

You mean that uses an expanding wedge system inside the fork's steerer tube? There might be but then you'd need a different headset and threaded forks for the head set to thread onto...

I'd forget about it, in my eyes a Maurice is too modern for a retro quill stem, see if you can find a cool ahead 1 1/8" stem.
